Higuita The Mad Goalkeeper

Columbian Goalkeeper Higuita was called as the mad goalkeeper EL Loco by their fans and the media. He is considered as the most unique goalkeepers of all times due to his crazy playing style. He is the person who invented the scorpion kick---->A type of a goal saving technique which is quite unnecessary. On the field Higuita was known for his eccentric playing style by taking all sorts of risks. This kind of attitude knocked out Columbia from the 1990 world cup quarter finals and let Cameroon reach the semis. The goalkeeper kept dribbling(more likely pushing ) the ball and came till the halfway line when the Cameroon striker stole it away to score the deciding goal.
